18 January 2011: Call Mr Robeson

Call Mr. Robeson, an award-winning play about the African American singer, actor and Civil Rights activist, Paul Robeson, is to be performed at Theatro Technis in Camden, London from 4th to 23rd January 2011. Its writer and performer, Tayo Aluko will be donating proceeds from five of the twenty four performances to some London-based organisations including Crossroads Women.  The Guardian

A Christmas Fair will take place on Saturday 11 December at 25 Wolsey Mews, Kentish Town, the future home of the Crossroads Women’s Centre.

 

30 October 2010: Fundraising launch

A Christmas Fair is planned for Saturday 11 December at 25 Wolsey Mews, Kentish Town, the new building and future home of the Crossroads Women’s Centre. It is part of a fundraising appeal to renovate the premises, which got off to a flying start on Halloween weekend with Bishop of Edmonton Peter Wheatley and TV celebrity Gail Porter among the 400-strong crowd...
